What is CET Hands on Assist?

CET stands for Continuing Education for Teachers and this is exactly that. A training designed for yoga teachers and practitioners who want to go beyond the verbal cue. Over 5 days, you'll learn the principles behind effective, safe, consent-based assist. You'll practice on real bodies in real poses. And in the process, you'll understand your own body more deeply than you ever have in a regular class.

This is not about perfect alignment. It's about learning to listen with your hands.

Who is this for? You already teach. Now you want to use your hands more confidently knowing when to touch, how to touch, and when to hold back.

You're not teaching yet but you want to understand your body on a deeper level, and maybe one day guide others too.

This training is not suitable for complete beginners with no movement background. It's also not a physio or anatomy certification it's experiential, hands-on learning.

What happens across 5 days?

• Day 1: Consent & Intention: Learn the right to touch. Practice the consent framework before placing a single hand.

• Day 2: Seeing Before Touching: Train your eye. Learn to read a body before your hands move.

• Day 3: Self-Protection: Your body matters too. Learn to give sustainably without burning out.

• Day 4: Kinesthetic Transmission: Touch is two-way. Learn to receive information from the student's body, not just send it.

• Day 5: The Assist Decision Tree: Touch, speak, or do nothing. Integration, live practicum, and closing.

Q: Do I need to be a certified yoga teacher? No. This training welcomes both teachers and serious practitioners. What matters is that you have a consistent movement practice and genuine curiosity about the human body. Q: Is the online option as valuable as in-person? Morning theory sessions and feedback circles work well online. Hands-on practice sessions are in-person only. Q: How many people will be in the training? Maximum 10 participants. Small cohort means more personal attention, more practice time, and a real community by Day 5.

Q: Do I need prior anatomy knowledge? No formal anatomy knowledge required. We teach through experience, not textbooks. Q: Will there be recordings? Theory sessions will be recorded and available to participants. Hands-on sessions are not recorded out of respect for everyone in the room. Q: What is the refund policy? Full refund up to 30 days before start. 50% refund up to 14 days before. No refund within 14 days.
