If your hips or shoulders feel tight, painful, or stuck, the issue is often not the joint itself.
Many people believe flexibility comes from stretching more or forcing a bigger range of motion. What we now understand is that joints often feel compressed because the body is not distributing load efficiently.
Your body is designed to share effort from the ground upward. When this sharing breaks down, certain joints take on too much pressure and begin to feel restricted.
In this workshop, you will learn simple ways to understand how people breathe, stand, and move. The movements and drills you learn will directly inspire your yoga sequences, helping you adapt classes for different bodies, abilities, and joint related needs.
You will be shown clear techniques that redistribute effort through the body, so joints feel lighter, more supported, and easier to move both for you and your students.
This is about recognising the movement patterns you already have and learning how to use them intelligently. As your understanding deepens, your confidence grows and your ability to design effective therapeutic movement becomes a real strength.
You will leave with practical tools you can use immediately in yoga, training, and daily life to support joint health and resilient movement.
